Our TREASURE is the last component of stewardship.  As we provide for the needs of our family, we too should provide for the needs of our parish family. As we commit time and talent to the Lord, let us not hold back, but rather show our discipleship and give Christ a portion of our possessions as a sign of our total giving of ourselves to him. 

May we continue to strive to become better stewards committed to the Lord so that our actions and our sacrifices may show forth the words of Joshua’s commitment,

"As each one has received a gift, use it to serve one another as good stewards of God's grace." 1 Peter 4:8-10

Where Your Gifts of Treasure are Used

90% of every dollar contributed stays at Blessed Sacrament to meet the Spiritual, Operational, Capital, Educatational and Social needs of the Parish family.

10% of every dollar contributed goes to the Catholic Diocese of Wichita for the following purposes:

• Supports programs and services to parishes from the diocesan offices of Administration, Religious Education, Tribunal, Worship, Family Life, Development, Youth and Young Adults, Respect Life, Stewardship and Catholic Schools.  Also supports the work of Catholic Charities and provides the diocesan newspaper to all parish households.

• Meets the needs of the Diocese, including that of minorities, the poor, the elderly and other miscellaneous needs.  Also supports and assists in providing the adult educational opportunities and related services through the Spiritual Life Center.

• Meets the educational and retirement needs of our priests and seminarians.

• Assists the Church in the United States, specifically to help the minorities, the poor and to support the educational and communication efforts of the Church.

• Assists the Holy Father and the missionary and universal needs of the worldwide Church.
