Maria is coming from St. Mark Catholic School in Plano, Texas where she taught Kindergarten for the last 3 years.

Prior to that Maria spent 5 years at home with her children and before that she was  2nd grade teacher at St. Mark’s  for 4 years.

Maria started her career at Cure’ of Ars in Leawood, Kansas, teaching 2nd grade for 7 years. 

Her Bachelors degree is from Avila University and she has a Master of Arts in Teaching from Webster University. Maria was just awarded Work of Heart designation during her last year in Plano for her work with a Special Needs student.

Her husband, Ed and she have two children, ,and will be attending Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Goddard.
