Spiritual Programs

Youth Choir
The Youth Choir is open to students in grades four through eight. They sing during the all school Mass on the Friday before the first and third Sunday of each month and on special occasions throughout the year. Special occasions may include the Christmas Eve 5:15 P.M. Mass and First Communion Mass in the spring. The choir also sings at the 9:00 A.M. Sunday Mass on the first and third Sundays of each month.

Cantoring workshops are offered to middle school choir members who are interested in becoming cantors. Solo and instrumental music opportunities are available.

The Youth Choir is a good opportunity for students to learn stewardship through participation in the liturgy of the Mass. No auditions are necessary, however regular attendance at Wednesday rehearsals is essential and expected. Practices are on Wednesday from 3:20 to 4:15 P.M.

Children’s Holy Hour
Blessed Sacrament Catholic School holds Monthly Children of Hope Adoration on First Thursday’s of the month starting after Mass until 11:30.

Para Liturgies
We have Stations during Lent, May Crowning, Confession three times a year and Rosaries in the classroom (both planned and spontaneously for special intentions).
